PHILISOPHY

The meeting of two people and the eventual fusion into one of two different artistic worlds has become the main theme of our approach. We strive to form a common identity and to develop a pictorial language that is the result of a perfect consultation and collaboration between us. This remains our constant challenge. Cooperation is our goal, not one artistic vision absorbing the other. In practice, automatisms are quickly created; the energy is spread on the canvas by successive or simultaneous actions until we are both satisfied.
This issue expresses itself in the themes of our painting: faces confront each other, couple together, and finally mingle and blend. From a same pattern, compositions multiply under the impulse of color.

The combination of bright colors, iridescent and shimmering (yellow ochre, burnt sienna, carmine) mixed to the elaboration of a painting rich in substance (collage/assembly, crack, transparency, shiny and golden texture) convey light and enlighten the canvas.
