Artist Dutch Montana's oil on canvas piece entitled "Arizona #1" has been selected by J. Mane Gallery for exhibition in the gallery's "Landscapes 2020 Exhibition". Montana is an award winning artist with several of his pieces being selected for exhibition from contests throughout the United States. His California and western United States muse is found in his award winning paintings including "California Coast #4" and "Abstract in Blue #2". His work is distinctive for its use of heavy medium which creates texture in his originals, and bold, aggressive palette knife strokes.

Arizona #1 is an abstract expressionist painting that signifies the work Montana did in the year 2019 and 2020. The background is vivid blue sky and a classic Arizona stone outcropping jutting into the sky in Arizona earth colors and splashes of turquoise. Perched on a mountain ledge is a nicely textured Saguaro cactus placed dead center in the piece, in which the cactus green is highlighted with iridescent gold and sunset orange.

The art will be posted and promoted on Artweek.com.  Artweek.com has over 800,000 impressions per month, 30,000 newsletter subscribers and 95% of their visitors work in or with the art, design & creative industries, from junior, middle to senior levels.  Also on Art.Base which produces 100,000 page views per month, 35,000 monthly unique visitors and has 10,000+ newsletter subscribers.

Dutch Montana said, "I am honored that J. Mane Gallery selected this work for exhibition in Landscapes 2020. This piece is one of my favorites. Whenever you do a piece that isn't forced, that seems as if some higher power is guiding your selection of color and your palette knife and brush, and to see it come out better than you envisioned it - it is a real joy. This was one of those pieces."

J. Mane curates both emerging artists and established artists.
