Patriot #4: SOLD. An artistic American flag. A piece with floating stars and a fluidity and motion and action in the work, with highlights of gold revealed as underpainting, heavy use of medium, and an ever so slight dusting of gold flake blown over the piece that pops under the lights at night. A single row of titanium white stars encircling the entire piece on the 3 inch thick depth. His canvases and frames are constructed and custom made for each flag by southern California artisans. The only piece to date sporting the single row of stars surrounding the work giving a more formal look to such an artistic piece. His flags are found in the executive offices in Silicon Valley, Texas, Arizona, Virginia, and North Carolina. Owners include NASCAR race car team owners, top executives offices and corporate lobbies throughout America. Each is a one of a kind, no reproductions are ever made. All work is done by hand by the artist and each piece takes months to complete. A substantial piece on custom canvas and kiln dried stretcher board frame of hardwood. All Dutch Montana art is completed in Southern California at the Montana Studio. Dutch Montana uses the highest quality canvases, paints, varnish and hardware, all pieces are signed on the front (or side) and on the back and come with a certificate of authenticity from the Montana Studio and an additional certificate of authenticity from the representing gallery. Each piece has the Montana Studio named hand branded into the kiln dried hardwood stretcher board frame on the back as well.
