The painting "PHYSICS OF SODOMY. COMMUNICATING VESSELS. NOCTURNE" was created in 2008 by the talented surrealist artist Dmitry Vorsin on ink-tinted tea cardboard. Dmitry Vorsin creates surreal worlds inhabited by mystical erotic characters. Drawing inspiration from Salvador Dali, his images are often elongated and with decapitated limbs. The self-taught Vorsin works in the sophisticated ink graphics technique. He creates pictures with dots on cardboard soaked in tea. A countless number of dots weaves distorted figures, inspired not only by Dali, but also by paintings of the Renaissance. Dmitry Vorsin's work was included in 2011 in the book “Metamorphosis: Volume 2: 50 of the best contemporary surrealist artists, science fiction writers and visionaries”, along with modern masters of surrealism such as Sean Barber, Travis Louis, Paul Booth and HR Giger ... In Vorsin's paintings, one can discern topics that have occupied the history of Western art for many centuries: the search for an idealized form; the connection between science and religion; difficult game between the artist, the subject and the viewer. Unfortunately, Dmitry Vorsin stopped writing. All of his paintings have long been in private collections and galleries in the USA, Germany, Spain, and Russia. Vorsin works for true and deep connoisseurs of contemporary art!

Dmitry Vorsin, a contemporary Russian artist, emerged from the quiet confines of a small southern Russian town in 1980. Despite lacking formal art education, Dmitry's innate passion for painting ignited during his childhood years. However, it wasn't until he reached the age of 17 that he found himself at a crossroads. Initially drawn to the pursuit of ecology, Dmitry's longing for creative expression ultimately led him to relocate to Moscow.

In the bustling metropolis, Dmitry delved into the realms of graphics and professional photography, immersing himself in the multifaceted world of visual arts. His artistic repertoire predominantly comprises drawings executed in ink and pencil on paper or cardboard, each unveiling a surreal landscape teeming with intricate symbols and enigmatic narratives.

Dmitry's distinctive style and visionary approach have garnered recognition, culminating in his inclusion among the esteemed ranks of 50 contemporary artists handpicked by BeinArt for the second edition of the groundbreaking book, Metamorphosis. Through his evocative artwork, Dmitry Vorsin invites viewers into a realm where reality intertwines with imagination, inviting interpretation and exploration of the boundless depths of the human psyche.
