Plata is an Alicante painter based in Granada. He studied Fine Arts at the Alonso Cano Faculty of Granada 2012-2018. He completed his training at the Azul de Cadmium painting academy (Madrid).

Devoting yourself to painting and drawing is not something that is only developed in the academy, it requires a lot of personal work and a lot of perseverance independently. You can always improve, you never stop learning.

Since I was a child I was attracted to the plastic arts, especially drawing and representation. I was fascinated by being able to generate that illusion of recreating the world through a pencil and paper.

He has always been a spectator of life, someone who observes, takes reality as a starting point and tries to capture what is there evokes him. He transports us to a different, sometimes dreamlike and somewhat ambiguous reading of the environment, whether in his portraits, his urban landscapes or his drawings. The figure and his surroundings as the setting for his work.
