Diederik van Apple is a contemporary Dutch artist. He was always inspired with the Walt Disney books and legendary movies such as The Godfather, Scarface, Pulp Fiction and Boondock Saints.
Van Apple's art is a combination of digital techniques such as photography and famous features. The basis of the art is aluminum or gold foil, then add holograms, colors, glitter, diamonds and other handicrafts. All artworks are hand finished with several layers of epoxy. By adding these layers he is able to create innovative and unique mix-media art with a fantastic 3D effect.
