Derek Harris is an artist photographer, painter and designer who studied at the Sir John Cass School of Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London. He has built a rich and varied professional career in the art world.

As an award-winning photographer, Derek specializes in landscape, garden and travel photography across the UK, Europe and the USA. His photographic work has been exhibited widely in galleries across the UK and Europe. He has won prestigious awards such as “Landscape Photography of the Year” and “Garden Photography of the Year”. He also received four gold medals from the Royal Horticultural Society for the excellence of his work. Her latest photographic exhibition, entitled "Flora Erotica", took place in Cyprus.

As a painter, Derek is a member of the Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts. He has exhibited his works in galleries in Europe and Cyprus. More recently, due to the restrictions and isolation imposed by the Covid-19 outbreak, Derek has been exploring the retro worlds of the abstract, geometry and sacred geometry. He was excited by the discoveries he made and the new work he created during this period.

Derek's designs and artwork have also found their way into books, calendars, stationery, home products, canvas bags and home decor items including fabrics.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Derek Harris now lives and works in Cyprus, where he continues to express himself through photography, painting and design. His artistic career is a reflection of his commitment to art and his ability to evolve and explore new creative horizons.
