Antonio De Paoli was born in Pavia on May 27, 1966, and graduated from Brera in 1988. After an experience as a set designer at Mediaset and Rai between 1991 and 2000, he became a freelancer. He created bronze doors in Casorate (PV) between 2000 and 2002. Since 2003, he has created monuments on private commission, various paintings and sculptures, among which we can mention: the altar in the Romanesque parish church of San Zaccaria in Godiasco (PV); the statues of San Luigi Versiglia and San Luigi Orione for the facade of the parish church of Lungavilla (PV); a bronze high relief commemorating the Civic Tower of Pavia located in Piazza Duomo; a high relief of San Sebastiano for the facade of the church of the same name in Casteggio (PV); a terracotta sculpture depicting San Luigi Orione and brother Avemaria for the hermitage of Sant'Alberto di Butrio (PV); monument to Don Remotti in Alessandria. In 2007 he exhibited an anthological exhibition in the Rocca di Soncino (CR) followed by other exhibitions in northern and central Italy. From 2008 to 2011 he designed and created several monuments in northern Italy. Since 2013 he has won various competitions for ideas for works of art to be placed in public buildings, creating monumental installations in Trentino, Valle D'Aosta and Lombardy. In 2016 he created a monument dedicated to Giovanni Parisi for the Lega Box in Voghera (PV). In November 2017 he inaugurated a monument in Pieve di Bono (TN) for the "Padre Odone Nicolini" center and the following year a monument dedicated to the Resistance in Cesano Boscone followed by a monument dedicated to sea rescue for the Livorno Coast Guard. In June 2022 he inaugurated the statue dedicated to the sermon to the birds of St. Francis for the "Open-air Sanctuary" near Cannara (PG). In September his monumental work "The Metamorphosis of the Phoenix" was chosen to commemorate the centenary of the Explosion of Falconara in San Terenzo di Lerici (SP). His work was also reproduced on a commemorative stamp and postal null. On May 7, 2023 he completed the "Open-air Sanctuary" with a sculpture/altar made of pink Portuguese marble.
