This painting is inspired by a prayer scene from inside of the famous historical Shiva temple situated in Sivasagar, Assam India. I have painted this painting with Acrylic on canvas board. For creating this figurative painting I am using the natural cool effect inside the temple as the background with the warm glowing lamp with the reflected face of the pujari. I have used some of the palette knife technique for creating the effect of the background. No retarder of any kind is used in this painting.
