Although I have no cat at present, I have shared my home with many over the years and am inspired to sculpt a range of them on cushions in different poses. Although I have no cat at present, I have shared my home with many over the years and am inspired to sculpt a range of them on cushions in different poses. This is the first one and the next is in the drying room awaiting painting at the moment. The next one is turning out to be more of a comical character than this sleeping tortoiseshell. Sculpted with air drying clay, hand painted in acrylic and gloss varnished.
