geb. 1942 in Slany/ CZ. 1963-65 Akademie der bildenden Künste Prag. Paralell Bestchäftigung bei den Filmstudios Barrandow als Produktion- und Recie-Assistent bis zur Emigration. 1969 Emigration in die Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Paralell zur Malerei viele verschiedene Jobs als Broterwerb. 1984 Stipendium Atelierhaus Worpswede. 1985 - 1 Jahr Studienaufenthalt in Spanien/Andalusien, 1.Preis für Malerei in Cadiz (SP). Zahlreiche Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland, seit 1987 freischaffebd. Bis 1990 vorwiegend figurativ gearbeitet, danach Hinwendung zur Skripturalen Malerei. 1994 Lehrauftrag Universität Lüneburg, Fachbereich Kulturwissenschaften. In den letzten 7-8 Jahren entstanden zahlreiche Digitale Arbeiten mit einem breiterem Repertoir. Teilnahme an internat. Symposien, überwiegend Grafik, speziell Radierung und Siebdruck. Dozent für FreieMalerei und seit eunugen Jahren Coaching in Freier Malerei. Lebt in Hamburg, arbeitet in Hamburg und Prag.
