De Luca Augusto is an internationally renowned Italian photographer, born in 1955 in Naples. After classical secondary studies, he pursued university studies in law and obtained a license in this discipline.
However, his passion for photography led him to become a professional photographer in the 1970s. He devoted himself to both traditional photography and experimental photography, carrying out numerous experiments with various materials.
Some art critics consider De Luca Augusto's style to be characterized by careful attention to the smallest expressive details of the photographed object. His production presents images of pure realism, but also works where forms and signs are associated according to indications inspired by metaphysical philosophy.
De Luca Augusto is internationally recognized and has exhibited in several Italian and foreign galleries, as well as in museums and institutions such as the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, various cultural institutes and universities in Italy and abroad.
