L'art est le fil conducteur de ma vie, dans la théorie d'abord avec une formation d'historienne de l'art appliquée dans la profession de commissaire-priseur, avant de revenir progressivement à la pratique avec un détour par la peinture décorative (faux marbres, trompe l'oeil ...).
Depuis une dizaine d'années maintenant je développe en autodidacte mon langage pictural dans une recherche constante sur la couleur et la matière. L'usage de spatules métalliques me permet une application particulière de la peinture où celle-ci prend des aspects presque minéraux et où les couches vibrent et se répondent en transparence.
Le paysage est alors un prétexte à interroger nos émotions, une invitation à ré-ouvrir notre regard.
Je recherche ce subtil équilibre que nous apprend la Nature, entre harmonie esthétique et force sous-jacente, entre douceur et puissance.
