Ayala's "LAMIA" series is a captivating collection that challenges viewers to confront the duality of human nature, the coexistence of beauty and darkness within us all. The use of a female model to portray Lamia highlights the paradoxical nature of this entity, who embodies both seductive allure and terrifying darkness.
Ayala's photographs delve into the realm of the esoteric, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. His use of dramatic lighting, evocative poses, and symbolic elements creates a haunting and mesmerizing atmosphere that perfectly captures the essence of Lamia.

Ciro Ayala (aka KIR) was born in Argentina, the first son of Maria Ines and Miguel Angel Ayala. A child prodigy, Ciro's relationship with the arts started at age 4 when he began creating 3D perspective drawings on paper. Inspired by the films of Steven Spielberg, Ciro began making movies at age ten with a Panasonic video camera. At age 15, Ciro edited videos for Interpol, Sport Championships, and Identity Films using his own video editing platform installed in his bedroom.

He learned TV production under the guidance of his first mentor: Alejandro Abreu, a famous TV director and producer in Argentina.

In 2000, at age 19, with producer Facundo Marcías, Ciro wrote and directed his first independent movie: "Disfraz". The movie was later shown in the Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre International Film Festival for 3 consecutive years, as well as in Madrid and Paris.

In 2002, Ciro left his University studies -on Social Communication for Advertisement- and moved to Taiwan. He went to work for several companies as 3D Architecture Designer, Art Director and Filmmaker, but discovered that he was more creative and efficient working on his own than under other people.

So, in 2008 he went on to found PROVOKE FILMS® focused on directing and producing music videos and commercials. His first clients included Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Armada Music, Spinnin' Records and Kontor TV. Producing more than 700 works in Europe, Asia and America since the past 12 years, Ciro has been credited as filmmaker, writer and producer on projects for Dope D.O.D., Krewella, Rockstar Energy Drink, Fashion One TV Network, Coolermaster LTD, etc.

In 2010, Ciro founded VOKEMODELS: an online HDTV Channel that promotes lifestyle, art and fashion.

In 2015, Ciro became a Buddhist Monk in Nagoya (Japan), served as a temple-keeper in Taichung and Kaohsiung cities (Taiwan), and traveled around the World teaching and guiding people as a clergy, representing Taiwan and Japan Buddhist orders.

In 2018 Ciro moved to Los Angeles, California and continue directing music videos for Grammy-Award winner American artists, and creating NFT Art for Hollywood celebrities.

The Worldwide COVID19 Pandemic didn't affect his workflow and in 2020 Ciro Ayala directed and produced 50 music videos and 5 TV Commercials.

In 2021, after winning several awards in the arts field, Ciro Ayala founded SILA VISUAL ARTS for the creation of contemporary and futuristic art content (that includes paintings, photography, art house cinema, and art books) by merging human and synthetic consciousness collaboration.
