Christian Guerin, French, born in 1953, was brought up in France by his grandmother Berthe Cammeo  who was an artist recognized by the Beaux Arts in the XX** century.  

He now lives in Weston, Florida.  He has always lived in this artistic climate. In the Cote d`Azur there are many famous Museums with artists such as Matisse and Chagall and Foundation Maeght. Living in Saint Paul de Vence for a long time, a famous village in the south-east of France, well known all around the world as an artistic village, where famous artists love to meet. Christian loves to assemble, cut up, paste and paint to produce spectacular lines which people either adore or are shocked by.

He does not consider himself as an artist, but as someone who assembles art, a compositor, this alchemist of modern times plays with a discreet humor to paint unusual paintings and he adds 3D bronze sculptures, which most often represent a woman, a man or children in the process of painting the painting, something never seen where the only limit is his creative imagination. 

Bright colors, he mixes oil paint and acrylic paint, he uses resin to give volume, framed or unframed, his works are loved by clients looking for something unique. Even if you are just curious, your look shall stop a few instants to contemplate these compositions.

This enlightened artist has been assembling hundreds of objects of different textures for 30 years; metal, bronze, porcelain, plastic, in a race to the 4 corners of the world. He meets talented or unknown artists and together they create unusual Works depending on the inspiration of the moment.

He paints Marilyn’s face on bubble wrap, an amazing result. 

All these creations, paintings, sculptures, assemblages have only been put up for sale since a few years, he exhibits in the USA and in France.

You will be able to find these Works in Florida.  A wax seal is applied on his signature, another note that differentiates him from other artists.

He exhibited in different galleries and events since 2010 , Art Basel in Miami, Broward Art Guild, Art Fusion, Boca Art show, Saint Paul de Vence etc….

He sells around 70/100 paintings every year. He exhibits in different galleries in Florida Miami, Coconut Grove, Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, Stuart, France Saint Paul de Vence.  He was a judge for the paintings exhibition make by students in Broward county.
