Chantal MARTIN, self-taught artist. As a child, drawing was his great passion. As a teenager, she began painting when her father gave her a box of oil colors.
After a break of 25 years, she took up the brushes again in 2014 when the children grew up and left the family nest. Since then, it's obvious, the desire to paint has always been present....
At the beginning, her style is rather figurative, then little by little she experiments with abstract backgrounds with additions of materials: pigments, sand mortar, collages, in search of new effects. The colors became more vivid, the subjects more cheerful and lighter.
First exhibition and first sale in 2014 then numerous collective and personal exhibitions in GARD and LOZERE.
