I’ve known the areas surrounding the Gamtoos valley since I was born.

I’ve known the areas surrounding the Gamtoos valley since I was born.
When I was young my father used to take me for long walks up the mountains or down to the water.
Today I walk these same paths with my daughters.
I enjoy engaging with my fathers’ collection of skulls. Over the years he’s collected skulls of baboons, bush buck, cows and other mammals found in the area.
Hidden apertures is a self-portrait series documenting a weekend in the Kloof. I couldn’t have done it without my favourite assistant in the world, my ten year old daughter, Armanda.
