The exercise of imagination - to manifest the vibrations of light - out of chaos into a controlled and organized system - made physical. A repeating pattern, then seen readily by all who gaze upon it

As you view these works, stare into the faces within the space. Let your imagination take over. What do you see? Do we all see the same?
Never has something so infinitely empty been so powerful, when looked upon by the human senses, and interpreted with the human imagination.
It becomes a struggle for control, to fill the space with whatever may be missing, or to accept it as it is.
One may see so much, with so little, in any amount of space.
Within these spaces, there could be no other space but the space chosen.
Vast, empty, frozen, still?
Closer, fulfilling, active, thrills.
Black and White Face Spaces.

Far from duotone, the green earth sits against a blue sky. This is the beauty of these two shades, everything and nothing, all at once. C.R. Kunferman is an avid nature photographer, however it has been a little known skill of his since 1994 when he picked up a 35mm manual focus camera. Growing up, film was a luxury that he had to conserve, and as such he developed a keen sense and intuition of when to let the lense open and close. Coupled with a lack of preview window meant that he would sometimes wait weeks just to see if the shot came out. And most of the time, it did.
And so, in contrast to many photography methods that involve taking multiple exposures, C.R. Kunferman still insists on his original methodology, which he has this to say about it: "You either get the shot, or you don't. With enough practice and sheer confidence aka belief, getting 24 shots in a row has only gotten easier. Take the shot, accept what's given to you with gratitude, and you'll find beauty in every frame. After awhile you see it through the lense and clicking the shutter becomes a reflex."
For the first time in 30 years, C.R. Kunferman photography is presented in print format, exclusively on ArtMajuer. All photos are single shot (Exif times/roll numbers available upon request) and original.

Era Entanglement" is a compelling visual journey through time, exploring the nuanced evolution of women's empowerment from the Victorian era to the present day. This series of artworks delicately weaves historical depth with contemporary insight, revealing the threads that connect past and present struggles and triumphs in the realm of female autonomy and expression. Each piece in the collection highlights the gradual, yet persistent, shift from the ornate confines of Victorian dress and societal roles to the bolder, more assertive presence of women in today's world.
Through a series of evocative portraits and scenes, the series portrays women in various states of repose and rebellion, adorned in the rich textures and colors of Victorian fashion while exhibiting the confidence and assertiveness that modern women embody. The juxtaposition of traditional aesthetics with modern themes of independence and power invites viewers to reflect on the ongoing journey of female empowerment, acknowledging how far we have come and how much further we have yet to go.
