C. E. Turner

My name is Colton Turner. I’m a painter living in Austin,Tx. My work is mainly comprised of natural landscapes and scenes, in either oil or acrylic on canvas. My paintings originate from meaningful environments that are personal to me that exist in the natural world. I aim to capture the essence of these places in my works. My process consists of scouting out specifics locations and photographing them. Then, returning to my home studio to recreate the emotions they evoke with my own interpretation. I am a self taught painter, and out side of visual art I am a professional musician/ songwriter with the rock and roll band The Mellows. Thank you for taking the time to read this bio. - C.E. Turner
