Oils on canvas, from my travels, or freely inspired by photos found on the internet. In any case, a lot of things change: colors, details, characters, etc...

The paintings are for sale, except those which have already been sold, and except those which are not yet perfectly dry.

< p>I have been painting in oil since 2002, almost exclusively on linen canvas (cotton canvas for certain old paintings). Oil has several disadvantages compared to acrylic, such as much longer drying, having to clean brushes with soap (hands are protected by latex gloves). But longer drying is interesting for certain mixtures on the canvas, and above all I love the smoothness of the oil!

Material used: only extra fine oil (Lefranc Bougeois or Sennelier are more expensive but incomparable in terms of brightness and durability), brushes made of natural or artificial sable hair (ideal to combine with the creaminess of the oil).
