What better way to inspire tranquility and soothe your senses than a walk at the beach? In my sea-inspired paintings, I try to capture the color, light, and atmosphere of beach days that we all want to keep in our memories. Either it’s a nostalgic seascape, a subtle splash of color, or a whimsical figure of a lifeguard stand, left there as a lonely monk on its duty…

There’s nothing like a sunny day on the beach, especially when you know that there are dark days... In a series of my paintings, by using modern glitches, sudden stripes, and strokes, I want to stress on fragile nature of life in order to remind all of us that it needs to be appreciated and protected. In my artworks, I like to crop landscapes and zoom in on details, use textured surfaces, and bold swatches of paint, and find new modern shades and light compositions to entice the viewer, with the hope that he will think of his sunny days sometimes and smile.

Bo Kravchenko is an American contemporary artist of Ukrainian origin. He holds a Master’s degree in Book Graphics from the Kyiv State Academy of Arts and began painting in 2010, following a successful career in creative advertising. Growing up in an artistic household with both parents as artists, Bo was immersed in art from a young age. After graduating, he published sixteen books featuring his own illustrations and went on to work in creative agencies across Europe. Eventually, he relocated to the East Coast of Florida, where the natural beauty of the area reignited his passion for painting and photography.

Drawing on years of experience collaborating with galleries, artists, and designers, Bo had a clear vision for his artistic journey. He soon transitioned to full-time painting, showcasing and selling his work through art festivals and online galleries, as well as participating in solo and group exhibitions. Today, his paintings are sought by collectors worldwide, and he exhibits extensively.

After a decade of focusing on landscapes, Bo’s technical skills and confidence have flourished. His recent work explores larger-scale and more abstract forms, emphasizing light, textures, and the interaction of landscape within an abstract context.
