For some years now, the digital camera of mobile phones has been designing a brand new mode of expression: simple, immediate, intuitive. lucborell is totally in this perspective; he made his concept: "photophone". This translates into direct and spontaneous photos that he uses to rework them on a computer using image processing software.

lucborell was born in September 1954. As a cultural engineer, he is an original member of contemporary art. Sailing between photography and painting, he takes a resolute position for the digital and digital arts, remaining nevertheless very sensitive to the vestiges resulting from the history of the art.

lucborell was director of a café-theater for several years before making the decision to engage in an artistic approach.

lucborell is a graduate in interior design and architecture. He is a technician in heritage and gardens.

His inspirations go from Egon Schiele to Pierre Soulages through Puvis de Chavannes and Andy Warhol.
