Cornu (2007) Painting by Benlob

Yvelines, July 1980 were born in the bed from his/her parents, Benoît last of a phratry of three. In fact, its childhood is gilded since its elder succeeded in training these large people as parents.
Benoit evolves/moves in the painting of his father, painter amateur and the instruments of his brother become musician; who besides offers to him a guitar for his ten years. This is why Benoît develops his interior feelings and an over-sensitiveness, so much so that it quickly associates the music with the color.
In its room of préadolescent, the window is its point of reflection where it allows the expérimention of the light by adding to it of the matter the such images of the pages of magazines. Thus, the recto/back merging with the light makes visible the invisible one. Occurs then, the base of the work of BenLob, the effect of transparency.
Quite naturally BenLob is intended for an artistic course and attends the college of Sevres in Applied arts, it works the drawing starting from model living and reveals its talent of draftsman, influenced then by Klimt and Schiele.
Later, it is registered with the entrance examination of the workshops of the Art schools of Paris 13th arr. By the way, the pupil is directed in sculpture whereas it presents a very complete dossier on painting. Very frustrated this decision which it manages to exceed while working to carve the image. In other words, it tries out the assembly of slides, negative, plastic and plexiglass, which it burns sometimes.
These years of disorders and studies enable him to free mechanisms giving access to Creation to him. The base of work incipient from BenLob is a filtered reproduction of its promising interior world to a great future in the history of contemporary painting.
