BEAtrice DERIDIAUX a toujours dessiné et beaucoup fréquenté les galeries.
Vers les années 1975, elle a étudié le dessin (NU) au cours de Monsieur GOESSENS à l'Académie des beaux-arts de Charleroi (Belgique).
Depuis 1996, la Terre lui a permis de se trouver et de se connecter avec sa vraie nature.
Le travail de la terre lui apporte harmonie, bien-être intérieur.
Chaque sculpture a son histoire, autant d'autoportraits, c'est-à-dire le reflet de ses émotions, de ses états d'âme.
Le toucher de la Terre est un plaisir physique, sensuel.
La terre qui s'ouvre, s'offre.
Son thème de prédilection : la femme et parfois le couple.
Les femmes sont faites comme la Tierra, rondes, comme elle (dixit Clairissa Pinkola Estès dans femmes qui courent avec les loups)

où tout glisse, tout coule, sans heurt.
