Faience ou grès associés au bois ou au métal, la céramique permet d' expérimenter sans préméditation dans une ambiance de chantier hybride, odeur de terre humide, de poussières, de bois et de racines qui constituent l' espace privilégié de l'atelier. Un lieu de méditation physique, minérale, un temps de recueillement et d'alchimie intime. Un mode de vie à l'écoute des rythmes du monde.
Les nourritures terrestres, râpeuses, rugueuses, lisses ou granuleuses alimentent la recherche d'un rapport sensible avec la matière tendre et plastique et renvoie à une géologie de l'intime à travers les sensations tactiles.
La terre, bloc de nuit opaque, donne forme, rend palpable, tangible, le vide et l'ouverture qu'il procure. Planète, jardin, matière première, nourricière mais aussi chemin sauvage, écorce, faille et tremblement.
Réminiscences animales, végétales ou minérales, l'improvisation, la joie de laisser les mains jouer, écrire des signes inconnus, la curiosité et le plaisir de la découverte guident mon travail sur des chemins de terre, à l'ombre de sous-bois que j'espère loin des sentiers battus.
