The autumn (1999) Painting by Volodimir Babienko

Curriculum vitae. My full name is Volodimir V. Babienko. I was born on 11.01.1971. In the childhood I participated in the International Expo of Children Drawing in 1984, Sofia (Bulgaria). My drawings were awarded and they are kept in the Museum of Children Art (Sofia). Before entering to the Art Faculty of the Southern Ukrainian Pedagogical University in 1994 I took part in many art exposition. In 1999 I was graduated from SUPU Art Faculty by the speciality of painting. Since 1999 I participate in the Art Expo regularly – in Odessa, other cities of Ukraine, including all-Ukrainian Expo. Because of significant achievements in professional painting I became a member of the National Union of Ukrainian Artists. I was recommended for including in the roster of the Members of the National Union by the Folk Artist of Ukraine, Albin V. Gavzinsky. During this period I had been conducted several personal expositions. My artworks are kept in the private collections of Canada (Alberta, Calgari), USA (CO, Boulder; CA, San-Francisko); Netherlands (Amsterdam), Seychelles, Syria (Damascus), India (Delhi), Russia (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg), in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities. My high art activity allows me to organize and become a head of the art group “Southern Ukraine� which serves for preserving national traditions of Ukrainian art. I am an author of several journal articles dedicated to the professional issues of art-making and Ukrainian culture.
