Biography
Lithuanian artist Erika Petunovienė (Erica AYTĖ), have a Master's Degree in Art and Technology, in 2020 was granted the Status of Artist by the Ministry of Culture, 2022 Member of the Union of Lithuanian artists, has won awards.
Organized 20 Solo exhibitions, participate in over 50 group exhibitions, art symposiums abroad (India, Italy, Korea, USA, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Austria etc.) and in the Lithuania.
AYTE’S artworks are published in various international contemporary art catalogs: International Art Catalog "WE CONTEMPORARY 2019", CAPSULES, "CURATORIAL VOLUME", Art International contemporary magazine and others.
The artist also organizes "ART & SPIRITUALITY" creative workshops. Actively participates in various support auctions and projects.
I was born and live in Vilnius. I became a theme in the context of today: the eclectic and changing world we live in. When images of both the past and the future coexist. The past today is more realized than ever before: hand-held information-entertainment media enable us to learn about the legacy of past cultural movements and deconstruct it into a theory of abstract social ideas.
