I took to photography quite by chance as I began exploring nature that I am naturally attracted to. Soon I became an avid photographer looking at nature through my mobile camera lens and capturing the abundant beauty of nature; trees as the motif. I find trees have their own unique shapes and forms creating patterns with their branches entwined and the sky as a backdrop. This has been my theme for the most part and indeed subjects of my photography. I have an exhaustive collection of photographs that were shot over a period of one whole year in and around Kolkata, India. My photographs were selected by the Academy of Fine Arts for an exhibition and several other art galleries as well. I am a prolific and passionate photographer who seeks and finds beauty at every nook and cranny. I guess I am a born photographer and have that natural sense of what might appear beautiful once its captured by my camera.
