"Charité" est issue d'une série d'études d'après des oeuvres classiques nommée "#fromarthistorywithlove" dont le fil rouge est la présence de la palette en marge de l'image. Ici en l'occurence il s'agit d'une partie de la Charité selon Bouguereau.

"Charité" est issue d'une série d'études d'après des oeuvres classiques nommée "#fromarthistorywithlove" dont le fil rouge est la présence de la palette en marge de l'image. Ici en l'occurence il s'agit d'une partie de la Charité selon Bouguereau.
Laisser la palette visible c'est offrir un accès au processus brut de création. Son déploiement aléatoire bien que circonscrit aux bordures de l'image entre en contraste avec le touché plus fini du sujet. Parfois l'un et l'autre se mélangent. Elle porte les sédiments accumulés de toutes les sessions de travail. C'est un processus que je répète et transforme depuis plusieurs années et qui est devenu un signe distinctif dans ma peinture.
