Robert Inestroza is a contemporary artist born in NYC and based in France. His practice explores status, identity, vanity, consumption, and social change. Inestroza's work focuses on contemporary figurative painting and sculpture that conveys the paradox of contemporary life: chaos and poetry, fragility and strength, the ephemeral and eternal. All with a light-hearted, inquisitive touch. The layered, moody figurative works draw from past, current events and futures, mythology, pop culture, and art history.
