"Born in 1952 in Gummersbach, Germany. Currently lives in the romantic area of Bavaria. The beautiful landscape not only attracts many foreign tourists worldwide but also provides inspiration for Kamerbeek's art.
After high school the artist embarked on a very special education in graphic arts through tutelage and apprenticeship with her grandfather and father, two previous family generations of professional painters.
Kamerbeek owned galleries in Kaarst near Düsseldorf (1978 - 1980) and in Mönchengladbach (1980 - 1982) before creating her own web site which assists other cyberartists to gain exposure for their work. A true inspirational leader and motivator for the cyberarts.
Much art exhibiting, on earth and in cyberspace. One of her works, "Global Consciousness", was inducted recently into the online Cyberculture Art Museum.
The artist finds time to maintain the position of Co-coordinator for East Hawaii Cultural Center's International Cyberart World Tour and Coordinator of ".

Webism, deutsch Webismus, ist eine internationale Bewegung von Künstlern. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Digitalkunst/Netzkunst. Eingeführt wurde der Begriff von dem amerikanischen Cyberart-Pionier Dr. Rodney Chang, genannt Pygoya. Als globale Kunstbewegung ins Leben gerufen wurde die »Webism Group of Worldwide Artists« im November 2003 von Pygoya und Ingrid Kamerbeek, Sonthofen nach der "1st European Real Life Art Tour".
Das ursprüngliche Ziel, die weltweite Offline- und Online-Präsentation von Digitalkunst zu fördern, wurde durch die Idee ergänzt, die Potenziale der Netzwerkmedien zu nutzen. Die von den Mitgliedern der Gruppe gemeinsam organisierten Kunstaktionen sollen nicht nur das künstlerische Schaffen der Einzelnen, sondern auch die (Digital)kunst insgesamt beeinflussen und zum Aufbau einer weltweiten eCulture beitragen.
Die Künstler und Künstlerinnen der Gruppe nutzen das Netz auf dreierlei Weise:
1. Das Netz dient als Lieferant von Rohmaterial: Aus dem Netz stammende Daten (etwa Fotos) werden als Rohmaterial des künstlerischen Werkes verwendet. Vorhandene Netzinhalte werden mit künstlerischer Intention wiederverwertet und verwandelt.
2. Das Netz als Plattform synchronen Kunstschaffens: Künstler stimmen ihre Arbeit thematisch und/oder formal mittels Netzwerkmedien ab und präsentieren die Ergebnisse ihrer Kooperation in virtuellen Räumen.
3. Das Netz als Medium der Zusammenarbeit: Vermittelt über die Netzwerkmedien werden – nacheinander oder interaktiv – gemeinsame Kunstobjekte kreiert.
Webism ist nicht nur eine virtuelle Gemeinschaft, es ist gleichzeitig auch eine Idee – die Idee kollaborativen Kunstschaffens ohne Grenzen in Raum und Zeit. Darüber hinaus beinhaltet Webism auch die Idee, Menschen aus allen Teilen der Erde einander näher zu bringen und dadurch einen Beitrag zu leisten zur Völkerverständigung.

From November 4 - November 6 2005 Vampire-Fans from all over Germany and parts of Europe will meet in Laubach, Hessen for the 4th Congress of The Dracula-Society. The topic of this year's event is "Vampires in Movies".
The Congress will take place at the Rathaussaal and at Dracula's Museum in Laubach/Hessen.
Highlights will include
- Several guestspeakers including Dr. Rolf Giesen: Curator at The Filmmuseum in Berlin, professor at the German Film School of Digital Production and Member of the Visual Effects Society, Los Angeles
- The "Nycatalus" Awards - to honour the best vampire-related work in science, art, literature, music and film
- Q&A and autograph-sessions with our guest-stars
- A Silent Auction - the proceeds will benefit Bat Conservation
- A fancy-dress Ball

The official language of the Congress is German, but our Guests of Honour, our Staff and the majority of our audience do speak English, so conversation and translation will not be a problem.

Webists are an international group of artists building a culture of cyberart. In their support of Bid 4 Freedom to aid asylum seekers, they also build a culture of humanity.
Funds, so far, have been used:
to assist asylum seekers in long-term detention and in the community
to provide continued help to 24 people on Bridging Visas
to assist one person on a Temporary Protection Visa to start a small business
paid for legal advice and passport applications for a number of asylum seekers
assisted some young people with short-term courses and others with books and study needs.
