Biography
My name is Sabrina Beretta, I am 30 years old painter from Ardennes. My artistic career started with drawing in 2015. After illustrating 8 books, painting gradually replaced ink, and black and white gave way to color.
My pictorial style has been developed with particular emphasis on symmetry, contrast, color intensity and especially opposition. A line is often suggested to separate two states: a figurative sidethat seems real, and a more abstract and geometric side, revealing multiple facets.
This is how I represent themes that are important to me, such as (de)construction, paradox, metamorphosis or butterfly effect. The idea that a small incident can have great consequences, and that with a single flapping of the wing, everything can explode, gives me infinite inspiration.

The 1st confined urban arts festival was organized by Projet Saato, following the idea of the artist Raf Urban. A hundred artists have mobilized to donate works of small sizes, sold every day for the benefit of the AP-HP french hospitals.
Sabrina Beretta participated with 2 artworks painted especially for the occasion, in the inspiration of the moment: The butterfly effect - Ruby 2, acrylic on art paper 30cm by 30cm and, 2020 or the pangolin effect, acrylic on paper of art in A4 format.

The event, which lasted throughout the confinement, raised €87,715 for the french hospitals of the AP-HP.
