The photo series of 6 photos, "The Wall", was created in the midst of the pandemic crisis. My fascination with the atmosphere in empty St Malo resulted in the dramatic simplicity of the black dominant surface, the barrier. In this series too, the motif of the edge appears, but in this case the edge is a boundary that is psychologically difficult to overcome. The wall hides and separates. The human figure in the series is cartoonishly elongated and forms a cross with the wall in the background. The last photo in the series reduces the proportion of the wall and opens a symbolically natural space of freedom.

La série photo de 6 photos, "Le mur", a été créée en pleine crise pandémique. Ma fascination pour l'atmosphère de Saint-Malo vide s'est traduite par la simplicité dramatique de la surface à dominante noire, la barrière. Dans cette série aussi, le motif de la lisière apparaît, mais dans ce cas la lisière est une frontière psychologiquement difficile à franchir. Le mur cache et sépare. La figure humaine de la série est allongée de manière caricaturale et forme une croix avec le mur en arrière-plan. La dernière photo de la série réduit la proportion du mur et ouvre un espace de liberté symboliquement naturel.

Armano Jeričević was born in 1962 in Zagreb, Croatia. He studied film directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb.[...]

Armano Jeričević was born in 1962 in Zagreb, Croatia. He studied film directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb. In 1997 he left his career as a dentist and started another life, as a multidisciplinary artist. 

In 2000 he moved from Zagreb to the region of Istria, Croatia where he lived until 2019. In the Istrian abandoned village of Furuli, Armano started with his family a multidisciplinary project under the name of Sensemanufacture. The project combines gallery art, as well as multiple artistic techniques, accompanied by the understanding of sustainability, to offer a theme of freedom as the alternative to our post-postmodern neoliberal world chaos. 

Since September 2019 Armano lives in Mellionec, Bretagne, France, and continues to develop the idea of Sensemanufacture with the addition of a gallery to host international artists and collaborations. Since 1999, Armano held several international as well as national individual and group exhibitions.
