My client asked for this landscape to be fixed in his really small apartment in Cannes. I was worried at first that such a scene woumd overpower the room, but he had the great idea of setting a mirror right in front of it. The result is that he enjoys his meals in the midst of a vast decor opening up a limitless reflection on time and space... A philosophycal dreamland.

After long studies in the Humanities at Ecole Normale Suppérieure, France's first school of litterature , I went abroad for 22 years, 7 years in the US, namely one in Nigeria and 22 in London. I came back to France, in Normandy first, and then back to Paris. I had 10 years ago an opportunity to be trained in decorative painting. This taught me both a profession and a tradition. I made and still love to make indoors trompe l'oeil on canvas subsequently fixed onto the wall. But times have changed, and clients' demands were now oriented towards hanging pictures.
