This is a wave as you can see it by a beautiful day on the rocky beaches near Port-Vendres in Southern France. The water is so clear you can see through it, and yet you have reflections of the sky - this is a great pleasure to paint such a scene with watery acrylic paints.

After long studies in the Humanities at Ecole Normale Suppérieure, France's first school of litterature , I went abroad for 22 years, 7 years in the US, namely one in Nigeria and 22 in London. I came back to France, in Normandy first, and then back to Paris. I had 10 years ago an opportunity to be trained in decorative painting. This taught me both a profession and a tradition. I made and still love to make indoors trompe l'oeil on canvas subsequently fixed onto the wall. But times have changed, and clients' demands were now oriented towards hanging pictures.
