Biography
Anne Platbroot is a contemporary Belgian sculptor. She was born in La Louvière, one of the cradles of surrealism. Her ceramic sculptures are inspired by the film Peau d'âne by Jacques Demy with Catherine Deneuve, and the Renaissance period which brought her to characters in costume with a cat's head.
Anne Platbroot was born in 1967, in Belgium, where she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels.
