Я родилась в г. Волгограде, на берегу Волги. Мой отец был направлен туда на работу из Москвы. Мама из Санкт-Петербурга, из семьи священнослужителей.
Моему отцу по приезду в Волгоград выделили землю на острове Сарпинский, в часе езды на теплоходе от города. Там он построил дом, и мы плавали туда каждые выходные. Лето я тоже проводила там.
Остров Сарпинский - самый большой речной остров в Европе, его протяженность достигает 20 км, а ширина – 18км. Природный заповедник, площадью более 11 га, с восточной стороны омывается рекой Воложкой, которую раньше называли Сарпа, отсюда и произошло название острова.
Остров Сарпинский — это остров с многолетней историей, о котором так же ходят легенды. Одна из них говорит о том, что на острове закопан клад самого Степана Разина.
На территории острова располагаются многочисленные села и хутора. Весь остров прорезан небольшими водоемами: на острове около 25 озер, в ериках и озерах острова водится свыше 20 видов рыб, болотные черепахи, водяная крыса-выхухоль. Остров Сарпинский – место, удивительное не только своей природой, но и разнообразием животных и растений.
Каждый день я наблюдала закаты, подолгу сидела на берегу и мечтала. Тогда я еще не писала, но все картины были в моей голове.
Потом я уехала в Москву, выучилась на юриста, защитила диссертацию, сейчас работаю по профессии, но живопись не отпустила меня и я начала писать.
