Anita Zotkina
Anita Zotkina is a painter working primarily in oil on canvas. She was born in Odessa, near the Black Sea, and began drawing and painting as a child. Her early work focused on animals, people, and dreamlike scenes, often created from memory or imagination.
At age 10, she began studying drawing and painting at the Grekov Art School in Odessa. After one year, she chose not to continue the full program, preferring to follow her own creative direction. After high school, she painted full-time, exhibiting and selling her work in Odessa galleries and at the City Garden.
In her late twenties, Anita moved to New England, where she continued painting while building a new life. Over time, her work became quieter, more symbolic, and rooted in emotional memory. She now paints in a style she calls Softique — a gentle, surreal, and introspective approach to storytelling through color, form, and light. Her paintings often feature women, animals, and imagined landscapes, evoking the feeling of a world remembered from childhood.
She shares her work online and in-person through exhibitions and art fairs. Each piece is a way of returning to something meaningful — a quiet world that still lives within her.

Nothing Permanent
Dartmouth Cultural Center, Inc., Elm Street, Dartmouth, MA, USA
'Nothing Permanent' is a group exhibition of 2D and 3D works where change iswelcome for all the reasons, a sense of responsibility, an invite of shared empathy, hope, and a need for action as Nature may force you to accept and resign. Nature's
change is inevitable and continuous. The artists in this exhibition question, cele-brate, and explore Mother earth in all its beauty, concerned with the planet's fate
from our gluttony, searching for empowerment, and never stopping toencourage change.
Dance with Orange
University of Rhode Island Providence Campus, Washington Street, Providence, RI, USA
A color or emotion; I mix it up because I am orange. The melting marmalade to tangerine
sunbeams, setting the tawny sky ablaze. Orange is no hiatus color or emotion, just one iso-lated yet important orange brushstroke that demands a stare and focal point of the artwork,
exciting, bringing the viewer in, making the eye travel around from all that is orange;marigolds and orange juice in a tequila sunrise; she is the color of the flames of the sunset
and sunrise to monarch butterflies dancing on tiger lilies as the song the oriole sang snack-ing on papayas and mangoes to alluring autumn leaves.

"Contrast" The art world has many shades, is defined as differences and is widely used as aprinciple of art. Here the heavy future is reflected in the Artist, the weight on the water, and thestrain of the rock; the stage is here to play between art elements like color, value, size, texture, andother aspects of choice.
