Handmade painting canvas from high quality linen fabric - 60% linen and 40% cotton. It has a characteristic texture that is preserved during priming and gives the painting additional roughness. When the linen is stretched to the wedge subframes, few layers of insulation and primer are applied. The back of the canvas is left unprimed so that the painting can "breathe". In addition to being known for their durability over time, linen canvas are also more resistant to shrinkage and loosen.
