In the realm of portrait photography, especially those that include thematic elements like candles, the lighting and composition are crucial. Candles can create a warm, intimate atmosphere, adding layers of meaning and emotion to the image. The flickering light casts gentle shadows and can highlight the subject's features in a soft, ethereal way. This technique is often employed to evoke feelings of serenity, contemplation, or introspection in the viewer.

In a portrait featuring a female subject and candles, one might expect to see a careful arrangement where the interplay of light and shadow enhances the subject's expressions and the overall mood of the composition. The use of candles could symbolize various themes such as warmth, memory, spirituality, or even celebration, depending on the context of the photograph.

I am interested in different categories of abstraction, as well as people and nature — my favorite themes. In my earlier work, I used film cameras, but now I prefer digital ones. Recently, I choose digital cameras for their high image detail.

I enjoy showing the extraordinary in the ordinary. Light and shadow create an amazingly elegant, ephemeral beauty in the surrounding world and a subtle simplicity in the image.

In most of my photographs, I shoot documentarily, but the only change in this process occurs when I work on the computer to make the final edits for printing. It is here that I allow myself greater freedom in how the photograph will ultimately look. I enjoy photographing in series.
