All Against the Propagation of AIDS and HIV

Alphonse Mpeke’s new works and continously displayed works are now visible here on his online gallery on mpekefineart . The artist and team have joined the World Aids Day Action to fight against the propagation of HIV/AIDs on the planet.Unicef just revealed that “in 2004 more than 600.000 Children were born with AIDS,” “HIV/AIDS is threatening children as never before: a child dies of an AIDS-related illness every minute of the day and a young person contracts HIV every 15 seconds. Fifteen million have been orphaned” (Unicef Home Page,2005) and the situation is even worse in Africa as the poverty and some religious considerations are keeping people captive of their own extinction.
