Alicia is a self-taught artist who has found in abstract painting a way to explore the complexities and beauty of nature through texture, color and form. From an early age she felt deeply connected to the natural environment, and this bond has been the main source of inspiration for her work. Her learning has been the result of a constant personal search, guided by intuition and experimentation.

Her work is characterized by a tactile and organic approach, where textures play a primary role. Using a wide variety of materials, Alicia creates surfaces rich in detail and sensations, inviting the viewer to interact not only visually, but also sensorially with the work. In her compositions, abstraction becomes a language that translates the essence of natural landscapes, life cycles, and the energies that emanate from the earth, water, and wind.
