The artist lives and works in Moscow, Russia and Ericeira, Portugal. Alex main focus in his art is to work with acrylic and oil paintings, photography and digital animation. The paintings, are mostly the portraits or the landscapes that have began with the real image, and in the end they are transformed into images of "invaders" which can exist only between dream and reality.
In photography he works with an images of people and places that have seemed to be found between reality and subconscious.
''I love black & white photographs, it reminds me about silent films and I try to make every picture in my photographic art like a strong, sensual movie.''
Alex Solodov's artistic work has been featured in private collections and galleries around the world including United Kingdom, Germany, Lithuania, USA, Austria, and his native country Russia.
