Alexandra Heumber Perry, born in 1977 in Paris, started painting in 2010.

Passionate about architecture, Alexandra develops her paintings by imagining them on a large white wall, in vast architectural spaces.

Fascinated by colors, materials and volumes, her favorite supports are large canvases or triptychs so that the play of materials and colors can express themselves and innovate according to the movements, almost limitless. The gold color and relative materials, as well as mediums, for the play of textures, are her favorite tools.
Her work is close to Abstract Expressionism, notably the painters Mark Rothko and Hans Hofmann. Color Field Painting and Action Painting, techniques specific to this movement are widely used in his work.

Her latest series, Brilliant Azur, is the result of an illuminating journey. The blue reflects the feeling of autonomy, freedom and serenity. The series Colors, is an illustration of the "whirlwind of life" and what can arise from all these situations and feelings where we sometimes get lost but we manage to do something about it. The Fiery Pink triptych is an ovation of determination and hope.

Alexandra now lives on the shores of Lake Leman near Geneva with her family, and is heavily involved in public health at the international level, especially for patients' rights. Her goal is also to help make art accessible and to improve education through art awareness.

First exhibition in December 2017 at Heritage Art Gallery in Geneva.
