Alex was born in Penza, Russia in 1974 in a family of chemist and a military engineer. His childhood years were spent in Far East. Then the family moved to Chernovtsy, Ukraine, where Alex graduated from Chernovtsy State University, getting a degree in physics and radio engineering. While studying, Alex worked at the firm specializing in decorative ceramics. Then he opened up his own small studio. Alex frequently visited his uncle, fine artist and a teacher, who lived in Siberia, and spent a lot of time in his studio. That's when he started to take part in group exhibitions, mainly with his sculptures and paintings.
In 1998 Alex moved to Kiev, where he worked as a graphic designer for 2 years, at a publishing house specializing in politics. In 2000 he moved to Spain, where he is a successful graphic and industrial designer, and a sculptor. Alex has had many personal shows, and took part in a number of group exhibits, where many of his pieces were shown and sold.
