A student asked Suzuki Roshi why the Japanese make their teacups so thin and delicate that they break easily. "It's not that they're too delicate," he answered, "but that you don't know how to handle them. You must adjust yourself to the environment, and not vice versa."
My life is about adjusting myself to that. And I’ll succeed only when I’ll find out who am I for real and figure out how to handle it.
Isn’t it strange, that people always are talking about meeting someone else, but what about themselves? Sometimes you can hardly believe in what you see around, but your inner world could be even more complicated and unpleasant. But, never the less, it is you. Nice to meet you!
Living with cliches of family, teachers and friends, you easily turn into a different person. But there is a way back, always waiting for you. Make just one step right and it will help you to continue.
I believe, we all are born knowing why we came here. There is no need to ask that again and again. That was the one from the insights I became four years ago during the short time I’ve spent with Buddhist nuns from Drikung Kagyu lineage.
Art’s main purpose is to communicate in the level, which exclude the words and other conventional human systems of communication. That could be conversation with others or with yourself as well. Art brings more understanding of subtle dimensions.
I’m embraced with all the media – oil painting, drawing, textile art, photography, dance, music, poetry, drama and prose. All what my way brings to me. Hope, it will chat up you!
