Adelino Marques, born in Gondomar where he still lives, discovered his passion for photography at the end of the 70s, while studying at the Faculty of Medicine in Porto. He was one of the collaborators of the photography department of the Students' Association. Subsequently, he took photography courses at the Cooperativa Árvore in the late 70s, then underwent professional training at the Instituto Português de Fotografia in Porto.
His artistic work has been regularly exhibited, both individually and collectively, in various countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Finland, Czechia, Ukraine, Brazil and the United States of America. Some of his work has been published in journals and books, and is part of private and institutional collections. Adelino Marques continues to explore and share his unique vision through his photographic art, thereby enriching the contemporary artistic landscape.
