Adeline Buenaventura. Born in the Philippines.
Self-taught mixed media artist, passionate for colours and graphics, inspired by "pop art", she design, draw, and paint free hand with always fun, bright and eclectic colours on her cheerful sculptures made of resin reinforced with fiberglass and marble powder, and infused with voluptuous roundness and sensual lines with a very elaborate glazed surface, the greatest originality of her work is also in the amazingly smooth deep aspect of each sculpture, which once finished looks as if it is blown glass or porcelain.
She has co-founded PAJ art studio in 2011, she co-created several sculptures under duo name “Artheline”. The Collection included Sumo, Venus, Ballerina, Hippop’Art, Goril’pop, and Whale pop collections.
The fruits of her labor and her most important art installation was at the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore in 2015 where 40 hippos and a life-size whale pop were installed and graced the hotel’s gardens and quays. She collaborated in the creations and exhibition of the Little Prince Collection and Little Prince in the dark in Fullerton hotel.
In 2016, She created her own studio, in Bangkok where she currently lives. Her most recent creations are the Jungle pop Elephant, Jungle pop Panda collections and paintings.
