Zakir Akhmedov is a contemporary Azerbaijani sculptor. He is a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. He participated in national and international exhibitions in Russia, Germany, France, England, Poland, Finland, Africa, Singapore, the USA, Turkey and other countries. Akhmedov's works are in private collections in many countries throughout the world. In 2005 he was awarded by the “Humay” award.

Zakir Akhmedov was born in 1955, in Azerbaijan, where he graduated from the Azerbaijan University in sculpture.
