This sculpture is an allegorical embodiment of the internal struggle of the human soul. Its form and details symbolize the contradictions that exist within each of us — between light and darkness, good and evil, serenity and chaos.
It invites the viewer to look deep into their own essence, to accept the complexity of their "self," and to find balance in this eternal dance of opposites.

Yuriy Musatov, born in 1981, is a Ukrainian artist based in Spain, renowned for his contributions to contemporary art and ceramics. Between 2012 and 2024, Musatov held 20 solo exhibitions, including notable projects such as My Explosion at Kahan Art Space in Budapest, Hungary, and Invasion at Triptych: Global Arts Workshop in Kyiv, Ukraine.
His artistic journey has also included participation in over 100 group exhibitions worldwide. Highlights include the XVI International Ceramic Biennial in Manises, Spain, where he received the Second Prize; Phoenix Rising, a group exhibition of Ukrainian contemporary art at Forsa Contemporary Art Gallery in London; and Migration(s) at Musée Ariana – Swiss Museum for Ceramics and Glass in Geneva, Switzerland. Other significant events include the Yingge IAC Members’ Exhibition in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and biennials in Esplugues, Spain, and Aveiro, Portugal.
